The 36 TALAS R is part of Fox's family of ultimate All-Mountain forks. The optimized, lightweight all new 36 lowers feature Fox's tool-free 20QR system with a stepped 20mm thru-axle for superior rigidity and steering precision. A linear air spring with rebound damping devours whatever terrain you encounter. Proven TALAS (Travel Adjust Linear Air Spring) system engages with a light flick of the lever for three travel options - 160, 130 and 100mm. A stronger and stiffer 1.5in. steerer tube makes this TALAS fork perfect for more extreme riding.
For 2008 Fox forks receive damper modifications for improved performance and ride quality. Fox forks now offer more control under braking, less damping noise, as well as more predictable damping. Other fine upgrades for 2008 include a new integrated disc brake cable guide, post mount disc brake tabs, and updated graphics.
